The team has engaged with nearly 200 Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) proceedings, with 10-20 active at a time. Team Overview:

Rhett Barney, who leads the Trademark Practice Group, works with clients on brand counselling and has been responsible for over 2,465 marks. He has litigated and enforced trademark and copyright matters for district and appellate courts, and worked on anti-counterfeiting with customs and border officials. Counsel Kevin McPherson’s practice includes cease and desist recovery and ex parte litigation against counterfeit and infringing online and offline sellers. He was previously senior director of brand protection, corporate counsel for Otter Products, brand protection manager for New Era Cap and senior trademark enforcement coordinator for Harley-Davidson.
