Texas court orders Apple to pay $625m in patent lawsuit

8 March 2016 The US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit has issued the first stay in an inter partes review proceeding in a dispute between Apple and VirnetX.
2 August 2016 A judge has thrown out a verdict in which Apple was ordered to pay a licensing company $625.6 million for patent infringement, ruling that the case should have been split into two separate trials.
