26 November 2020 A subsidiary of Xerox has accused Facebook, Twitter and Snap of infringing patents through their core functionalities, including the tools the social media companies use to help stop the spread of fake news.
25 November 2021 Instagram has filed a motion to dismiss an amended infringement complaint filed by a pair of photographers centring on posts that appeared on sites including Buzzfeed and Time.
