Jury awards USAA $102m in second Wells Fargo dispute
In the second win for financial services company United Services Automobile Association (USAA), a jury in East Texas has awarded it $102.8 million in damages after finding Wells Fargo wilfully infringed its patents.

11 June 2018 US banking organisation Wells Fargo has been sued for patent infringement over technologies relating to depositing cheques remotely via mobile phones.
15 August 2018 Wells Fargo fought back against a patent infringement complaint yesterday, claiming that patents relating to digital banking that were enforced against the US financial services organisation are invalid.
18 February 2021 Wells Fargo has reached a settlement in a pair of lawsuits brought by the US Automobile Association, after two juries found the bank liable for patent infringement.
