Canon settles patent dispute, files flurry of reports with Amazon
Japanese camera and printer company Canon has concluded a patent infringement dispute over toner cartridges with Brazilian-based Edeltec, just days after announcing it had filed a series of infringement reports with Amazon.

27 March 2018 The US International Trade Commission will investigate 50 companies that are allegedly importing patent-infringing toner products into the US, following a complaint made by Japanese company Canon.
21 June 2017 Camera producer Canon has been awarded $4.5 million after a federal jury found that a plastic manufacturer and a toner company wilfully infringed Canon’s patent.
