8 March 2019 South Korean conglomerate Hanwha is suing Chinese solar technology companies Longi Solar and Jinko Solar for patent infringement in US federal court and at the US International Trade Commission.
22 May 2018 The US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit has affirmed a decision that three patents asserted against two solar panel companies are invalid.
