McAndrews Held & Malloy promotes five attorneys
US IP firm McAndrews Held & Malloy Ltd has promoted two of its partners to the firm’s board of directors and elevated three associates to the partnership.
Joining the board at the Chicago-based firm will be patent litigator Aaron Barkoff and patent and trademark specialist Sarah Biggs.
Barkoff (below left) focuses primarily in pharmaceutical and biotechnology patent law and has represented clients including large pharmaceutical companies and smaller, generic drugs companies.
Biggs (below middle) has experience in various industries, with a particular knowledge of the medical device, nutritional and pharmaceutical industries.
The three new partners are Peter Lish, Ryan Jungels and Rami Moussa.
Lish (bottom left), a former examiner at the US Patent and Trademark Office, has experience in litigation and preparing and prosecuting patent applications in the chemical, energy and mechanical fields.
Jungels (below right) focuses on patent litigation across technologies including medical devices, telecommunications. His litigation experience covers all aspects of dispute resolution, from pre-litigation consultation to trial and appellate work.
Moussa (bottom right) concentrates on patent portfolio development, with an emphasis on prosecution, primarily in the electrical and computer technology industries.
