Nespresso can challenge German rival’s coffee pod patents

The coffee giant has convinced the US Patent Trial and Appeal Board to grant inter partes reviews of two patents that describe coffee pod barcodes and a machine sensor | Decisions come after K-Fee sued Nespresso for infringement last year.
