Winston & Strawn adds to IP team
Winston & Strawn LLP has added to its Silicon Valley office with the appointment of patent specialist David Wang.
Wang, who joins from Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, arrives as partner.
Wang is primarily a litigator and has practised before the various US district courts and the International Trade Commission.
He has also represented multinational technology companies in Japan, China, and Taiwan, primarily in IP litigations and adversarial patent licensing negotiations.
David Enzminger, office managing partner, said the firm was “delighted” to welcome Wang to the team.
Enzminger added: “In addition to enhancing our Northern California bench strength, David’s practice provides deep experience in the electronics, communications and semiconductor industries, as well as a strong presence in Asian markets.”
The appointment is the fifth to Winston & Strawn’s IP department in the last six months, which now includes more than 200 attorneys.
Winston & Strawn is a multi-service law firm with around 800 attorneys. It has offices across the US, Europe and Asia including: Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Paris and Shanghai.
