Fish & Richardson

Firm overview:

Fish & Richardson opened its office in China’s ‘Silicon Valley’ Shenzhen in 2019, establishing a presence in the country to further its assistance of Chinese companies in their IP requirements in the US and Europe.

The expansion took the global firm into the heart of China’s technology hub, which has the highest number of PCT applications of any city in the country, and is home to some of its most innovative companies. Fish has built its client base by focusing on developing close personal relationships, enabling it to gain a deep understanding of the needs of the companies it represents.

Fish attorneys help Chinese clients in the telecoms, electronics, fintech, life sciences and medical device industries obtain patent protection in the US and Europe and represent them before forums such as US federal courts, the International Trade Commission (ITC) and Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB).
