Technology-focused firm Perkins Coie has made some changes to its China IP operations this year. In September, it was announced that two Perkins Coie partners along with a team of 15 lawyers, paralegals and IP specialists would join Loeb & Loeb in the firm’s Beijing office. Loeb & Loeb said it also anticipated taking over Perkins Coie’s dedicated IP agency, which handles non-patent IP rights in China.

This move came alongside suggestions that Perkins Coie is shifting its focus to Shenzhen, home to a burgeoning technology scene.
