Based in Hong Kong, Gabriella Kennedy is Mayer Brown’s co-leader of Intellectual Property, leader of Asia IP and TMT and the co-leader of Cyber-Incident Response Team. Kennedy has extensive media, intellectual property, information technology, and telecommunications law experience and works with the firm’s clients on technology transactions and on litigation and data privacy matters.

- Gabriella Kennedy advised a major Hong Kong media and telecoms company on all aspects relating to the enforcement of their IP rights and their global branding strategies.
- Gabriella Kennedy advised a major cosmetics brand on trademark matters and assisting with enforcement actions, particularly in relation to tackling online infringement.
- Gabriella Kennedy advised a major sports clothing and footwear company on brand enforcement in Asia, handling a number of trademark infringement High Court Actions proceedings in Hong Kong and elsewhere, and obtaining injunctive relief and carrying out search orders.
- Gabriella Kennedy advised a US coffee company on franchise agreements, licensing agreements, and related trademark issues. She handled domain name matters for the client in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macau.
