Key matters:
Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics Pampus v Ming Yang Science & Technology: A Linda Liu team represented Ming Yang when it was sued by Saint-Gobain for allegedly infringing a ‘maintenance-free sliding bearing’ patent. In May 2024, the Supreme People’s Court made a final judgment on the case, rejecting Saint-Gobain’s appeal against an earlier decision that the patent was invalid. The case involved Ming Yang’s core business products, and the invalidation contributed to the firm’s listing on the Beijing Stock Exchange.
