Key matters:

• Zhong Lun assisted a Taiwanese company in winning the second trial adjudication of a technology secret and patent ownership dispute before the Supreme People’s Court. The judgment resulted in the revocation of the first instance judgment, patent rights being returned to the client, and an order for the defendants to compensate the clients’ economics losses and expenses.
• The firm represented Shaoxing Baisheng Cultural and Educational Products in three patent infringement retrial cases before the Supreme People’s Court, winning all three. The SPC upheld Zhong Lun’s opinions in both the appellate and retrial proceedings and found that Baisheng did not infringe the asserted patents.
