Alexandra Wood

Alex Wood is a European patent attorney at HGF, specialising in biotechnology with a particular focus on immunotherapy and vaccine technology. She handles all patent related matters and has extensive experience representing clients in post-grant proceedings before the European Patent Office. She is the co-lead of the FemTech group at HGF and is passionate about supporting female founders and innovators in protecting their IP. In addition to her professional practice, she actively contributes to initiatives promoting D&I within the intellectual property community and currently serves as the deputy chair of the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys’ (CIPA) Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
