Andrea Brewster

Andrea Brewster is the founder of IP Inclusive, an initiative that promotes equality, diversity, inclusion (EDI) and wellbeing throughout the UK’s IP professions, and describes herself as “proud to be woke”. She has led the organisation since its inception in 2015, promoting awareness of IP-related careers to widen the pool of aspiring practitioners.Brewster co-founded the IP practice Greaves Brewster in 2000. She retired ten years ago to concentrate on her work with IP Inclusive and the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys (CIPA). IP Inclusive recently joined forces with the IP Federation to introduce a D&I Senior Leaders’ Pledge for in-house professionals. Brewster works closely with mental health charity LawCare to promote inclusivity and wellbeing in the profession.
