Caitlin Byczko is a partner at Barnes & Thornburg. Her professional journey began in 2012 as a trademark law clerk during her second year of law school, transitioning to a full-time associate and achieving partner status in 2021.Byczko provides straightforward counsel on even the most complex legal challenges. Her trademark practice is substantial, currently involving the management of over 1,500 trademarks in the US and 6,500 trademarks globally.A strong litigator, Byczko has built a solid track record at the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB). She has comprehensively defended and prosecuted five TTAB proceedings, securing victories for her firm’s clients, which include organisations such as the NCAA, Lucid Motors, and Workday.Beyond her legal practice, Byczko is deeply committed to community leadership and professional development. She serves on multiple boards, including the Newfields Board of Governors, the Neighbourhood Charter Network, and the Indianapolis Marion County Building Authority.
