Candice Kwok

Candice Kwok is a partner in the IP and technology practice at Squire Patton Boggs. With more than 20 years of experience in IP, Kwok focuses her practice on international trademark portfolio management, enforcement counselling and contentious trademark proceedings. Clients in industries including fintech, food and beverage, healthcare and fashion entrust Kwok with their business-critical IP matters. Her work encompasses a variety of IP issues, including artificial intelligence (AI), trademarks, global branding strategies, domain names, and assistance with the protection and enforcement of brands worldwide. She also acts for clients in contentious trademark disputes, and is adept at handling opposition, revocation and invalidation proceedings. Kwok is also highly skilled in mediation, serving as a specialist mediator at the Singapore International Mediation Center (SIMC) and working with a variety of entities to resolve cross-border commercial disputes. She is also a member of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) List of Neutrals, an international list of mediators and other dispute resolution professionals with specialised knowledge of IP. Industry associations around the world, including the WIPO and EU Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), have sought out her thought leadership on trademark and other IP matters as a speaker at their seminars.
