Eduardo Castañeda

Eduardo Castañeda is a partner in the IP practice at Basham, Ringe y Correa in Mexico City, with more than 20 years of experience. Castañeda specialises in contentious matters and constitutional litigation before the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI), the Federal Tribunal of Administrative Justice (TFJA), district courts, circuit collegiate courts, the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN), and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).Castañeda was featured in the LGBT+41 initiative, which recognises executives who inspire and support the LGBT+ community in professional and personal spaces. He was instrumental in Basham, Ringe y Correa obtaining certification as a Best Workplace for LGBTQ+ by HRC Equidad MX 2025, a campaign aimed at fostering inclusive workplaces.
