Vandita Chandrani

Vandita Chandrani serves as associate general counsel for IP at Elekta, a leader in precision radiation therapy solutions. She began her IP career in private practice before transitioning to in-house roles, notably at Procter & Gamble, where she undertook assignments in the UK, Singapore & Germany, providing her with first-hand experience of working within different cultural environments. At Elekta, she leads the D&I initiatives for the global legal team as well as being an active member of local D&I initiatives. With inclusion at the heart of everything she does, she collaborates closely with management to tailor D&I strategies that address diverse needs across the organisation.Chandrani is a solo mother to a six-year-old girl and candidly draws on her past and present experiences to help raise awareness of the different D&I challenges faced by members of the IP profession, speaking at and organising D&I events and discussions, with a view to fostering a truly inclusive environment.
