Bock Legal
Firm overview:
Bock Legal is a consulting and litigation practice founded in 1998 in Frankfurt am Main. The firm has 16 lawyers working across three main practice areas – intellectual property, professional liability and insurance law. Bock Legal has 9-10 people exclusively on IP including design and unfair competition. Bock Legal is distinctive in that it is a lawyers only firm, unlike other patent attorney / lawyer mdp firms in Germany. The group also manages over 1,000 trademarks filings and related claims, prosecutions and oppositions, a workstream that arises when clients request.
Peers see the team as constructive in resolving disputes between clients. “We appreciate them, we see them on the other side a lot, they are very knowledgeable and prepared to negotiate and reach a settlement if needed.” The firm protects trademarks, trademark portfolios and other distinguishing marks nationally and internationally and enforces trademark rights in case of infringements for internationally renowned trademark manufacturers from the fashion, watch or automotive industry as well as numerous medium-sized and small businesses.
Bock legal has proven know-how and extensive experience in the legal enforcement and defence of registered trademarks, union trademarks (EUTM), international registrations, company names, protected designations of origin and rights to names, as well as in domain name disputes and in the defence against unjustified attacks.
