A sub-set of the firm’s Patent Litigation group is the Hatch-Waxman & Biosimilars Team, with expertise in organic chemistry, pharmacology and molecular biology, as well as drug synthesis, formulation and polymorphs. Houston partner Lisa Meyerhoff has more than three decades of experience in patents, and has assisted clients with obtaining eight-figure judgments for patent infringement. Fluent in all areas of IP protection, Meyerhoff regularly speaks at international conferences and has been involved in mediations, arbitrations, and bench and jury trials in federal courts. Her representation of clients is informed by experience advising both plaintiffs and defendants, as well as her in-depth knowledge of the best IP protection strategies.
